Enniscorthy Town Football Club goes in to the final Game of the season, away to St. Josephs, and its a must win game. Survival in Division 2 is at stake. The Town currently sit 2 points above relegation and a win would go a long way to securing Division 2 status next season. Shamrock Rovers and Duncannon are all fighting out to stay up but only one team can. A win for the Town is vital.
After a long lay off, the B team host already promoted Shelburne and will want to finish the season on somewhat of a high.

Mixed fortunes for the Senior teams on the weekend of 4th-5th Oct. There were no Schoolboys League games.
A Team:
In a score that flattered the hosts, the A team were beaten 5 – 2 Away to Adamstown at the weekend. Having missed a penalty to make it 3 all with 30 mins to go, the home side scored another 2.
B Team:
Also away to Adamstown, the B Team drew 1 – 1. Adamstown took the lead, but The Town levelled with 15 minutes to go through Shane Dempsey. The Town had chances to take all 3 points but never took them and overall a draw was a fair result.
It was a good weekend in general for Enniscorthy Town Football Club with 3 of 4 the teams winning..
A Team:
After going a goal down they picked themselves up and won 3 – 1 with Goals from Paul Windsor, James Buckley and Mark Heffernan.
B Team:
They went down 2 nil to local rivals Enniscorthy United. Losing two key players in the first 20 minutes, the team was re-jigged and never quite gelled.
Under 14’s: New Ross Town 2 – 6 Enniscorthy Town
Under 12’s: Gorey Celtic 2 – 3 Enniscorthy Town
