Welcome wins for both Town teams

Both the A and B teams picked up 3 points at the weekend against different Rosslare teams. The A team were at home to Rosslare Strand and the B Team traveled to Rosslare Port.

Enniscorthy Town A   4 – 2  Rosslare Strand

Goals from Player/Manager Mark Heffernan, Joe Hyland and a brace from Wayne Doyle saw the A team play out a comfortable win against Rosslare Strand.

 

Rosslare Port  0 –  1  Enniscorthy Town

Dean Horan scored the B Team’s only goal direct from a corner which the keeper fumbled into the net. The Town were reduced to 10 men with 15 minutes to go when Ciaran O’Neill was harshly shown a second yellow for an innocuous foul; but they galvanised and held on for their second win in a row.

This Sunday 20th November, the A team face Rathnure away, while the B team are at home to Boolavogue. Both games kick off at 11am.

A Team Get Walkover And B Team Set To Face St.Leonards

Fixtures Sunday 7th Feb 2016.

The A team have been handed a walkover by Taghmon UTD in the Wexford Volkswagen Wexford Cup 2nd Rd.

The B team fare at home to joint Div 4a leaders St. Leonards at 11am. The away fixture ended in a draw earlier on on the season.

Congratulations to John on winning this years first LMS competition. After 9 game-weeks he out-picked everyone to claim the €500 prize, and just in time for Christmas!

Under 16’s: Enniscorthy Town v Forth Celtic B 11.00.

Senior Teams: Tuesday and Friday at 8pm, CBS Astroturf.

Under 10’s: Monday 6pm, Pears Road

Under 12’s & Under 14’s: Wednesday 7pm,  CBS Astroturf.

Under 16’s: Wednesdays 8pm, CBS Astroturf.

Clean Sweep For The Town!

All 4 Enniscorthy Town Football teams in Actions took three points this weekend.

 

The B Team beat Orril Utd 3 – 2 at home.

The Under 12’s won 6 nil away to Shelburne.

The Under 14’s won 2 – 1 away to Corach Ramblers.

The Under 16’s won 6 – 1 away to Wexford Albion C.
